The public can obtain a Certificate of Land Value over the counter from any of our offices.
The certificate is a legal document which certifies the details of an entry in the Register of Land Values. It is signed by a staff member on behalf of the Valuer General and may be issued for any land value that has ever been applied to a property.
The certificate features the:
- valuation district
- property identification number
- owner's name
- property description
- date the valuation is made
- land values
- date the certificate is prepared.
There is no provision to lodge an objection to a land value obtained through a Certificate of Land Value. For more information on the objection process please see the request a review page.
