Property NSW to manage valuation system

From 1 July 2016, Property NSW will manage the valuation system  on the Valuer General’s behalf, a role for which Land and Property Information (LPI) was previously responsible.

As part of a scoping study of LPI conducted in 2015-16, the NSW Government has concluded that there is an opportunity to provide greater benefits to the people of NSW through the separation of LPI’s business units.

As a result of the separation, the Valuation Services team will join Property NSW and continue to provide services for the Valuer General from 1 July 2016.

From this date, any reference to LPI on this site is to be read as a reference to Property NSW, a division of the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation.
